Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

( a math trivia for you: What is the current flowing through the resistor above? )

P.S.
100W resistors are likely to be wirewound and hence inductive.
Inductive resistors are unacceptable as Current Sensing Resistors (CSRs)

120A... E/R=I ... P/E=I

Ya, these are metal film, digikey has category 'current sensing' which is also 'low inductance' which are on the order of 0.1uh and less...those are from that category;  They had one that was just a alloy metal bar, but they are out of those.

those that I linked are $12.54 each though... can get 3W and 5W ones... for a dollar or less

According to this, these кд203A diodes can withstand 420V of reverse voltage.
This would mean that for them to work in avalanche mode (not DSR mode) they would require more than 420V to break down.
Maybe, just maybe the W2 of Tr1 could provide sufficient voltage for this, if Tr1 worked as a saturated flyback transformer.

Did anyone ever ask Dally whether he intended his кд203A diode to work in avalanche or DSR mode?
...or did he drive the base of his KT926 transistor directly from the TTL Integrated Circuit or via some intermediate transistors?

Vasiliy, Cергей, anyone?

but TR1 is capped at 150 by the neon...

The function of the neon is simply an indicator that the inverter is powered up, nothing else. With a series resistor of 100k, there is no regulation function attributable to the neon.

Hello
so it seems fitting perhaps a nanosecond generator.
