Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Attached is a photo of the complete build. As expected, there is not a glimmer of light from my 40W lamp I've tried many cap values in place of the 0.5uF and spark gap distances to no avail. The oscillator, flyback and spark gap are working fine at an oscillator frequency of around 64KHz. My transistor base resistors are 2K2 and spark gap cap is 550pF. Transistors are MJE13005.

I'm going to try the 'X' wire next - wish me luck  :)

What is your choke wire length?
The resonant frequency wave length of it is ~ by wire length * 0.7, the current coils total length should be 4 times less with 4 times wider wire for quick resonant condition(resonance in series on same transformer with standing wave)...

Also to understand effect the following circuit needs to be studed closely: http://imgbin.org/index.php?page=image&id=13184 - C1L1 resonance in paralel, L2C2L3 resonance in series, L2L3 wire lenth ratio 4:1 , everything on single air core transformer. ;)

What did you wind the choke wire on?  ferrite rod?

Do you mean the total length of both 80 turn coils added together?

Thanks T1000. However, I'm sure that there is not enough power from the flyback for the performance shown in the video, even with a tuned setup. As you probably have more experience in tuning than me and as this circuit is an easy build, give this setup a go yourself and see if you can light the lamp as in the video without an 'X' wire.  It does work better with L2 reverse connected in relation to L3, when I can at least see some ringing spikes on T1 primary, although again no flicker on the lamp.
