I had a little tinker. I got 30 seconds of free running, and a couple of catastrophic capacitor explosions. Something I have never seen before in testing such a "benign looking circuit"!!

No, I got 30 seconds of freerun after disconection of battery. But try as I might I could not stretch anything further!! But do be carefull the capacitors that blew were rated at 60 Vdc!!

But how can they explode? I also making this divice but only on about 500 herc. And nothing exploding. Can you draw you schematic? what capasitor nominal voltage of all you capasitors and that capasitor explode?

No. There is LC circuit and seems going big curents.

I try that circuit that give to you, with it partialy experiment and get efficienty only about 70-99 precents. Seems that circuit, that I give to you is very hard ajust.[/size]
