thanks for your comments, it could be one of many parameters which trigger the magic.
You mention the neatness, or that it could be the lack of neatness that trigger something (so for me that means more stray capacitance/inductance on specific places).
But also i hear that it is the specific ferrite (russian) of the yoke that causes it, or like Farmhand mentioned, the type of water.
Anyway, i just try to replicate with what i have, or know and as long as people not fully disclose what they use (specific ferrite, water, etc) it will be shooting in the dark.

i use plain Dutch tap water, because i think that is what most use (plain tap water that is).
I see nobody mention anything about distilled water, or adding salt etc., but then again, not all is disclosed.

thanks, i could try putting some caps in between to isolate the voltage from the water.

But first i want to see if i can charge a cap with this potential difference in the water and drive a little motor to propel a boat, or light a bulb.

i could modify my mazzilli osc. to match what Igor is doing, but i do not see what is so special here.
I see a bulb being lit somewhat, and severall batteries, or do i miss something?

Yes! Maybe a practical application at last.  Now that Xmas is approaching, I'm sure that others could come up with some festive applications for 'cold' energy.

Yes, I was thinking of knocking-up an IGOR type OU setup to drive a few 1000W heating lamps with only a few hundred watts input. This could also hopefully roast the turkey at the same time.
