Not the same.
The guy with the "krona" use 2 identical coils (opposite or not wounded- I don't know) to bounce EM field between them in lack of ground to form a stationary wave.
Ruslan IMO use those thick few turn counter wounded at tip of his kacher for tuning purpose , and for geting a desired top capacitance along with antenna, or just to form a sustain for ferrite coil between kacher and antenna.

hi everyone,

Finally i have completed the pcb design base on dual 4017 divide by 60,50 or 3, jumper enabled Stable signal generator LTC1799,  Nanosecond generator with or without connection to kacher circuit all into one pcb along with the IGBT driver stage.

I have attached my un etched PCB board after completing positive photo resist expose stage.

Have anyone tried the configuration which i have suggested few weeks back.3 turns to capacitor to multilayer instead of 25 turns bifilar.The 25 turns bifilar would be the output to bulb.
This is just a alternative approach base on vasmus circuit diagram which is connected to bulb via 15 turns bifilar.
The multilayer coil is the receiver coil in my opinion.

For Tesla extra coil he did not mention winding directions but it is only one way to find out  by making one :)
Also all receivers in N. Tesla experiments had opposite direction of windings...
