Regarding people making all sorts of claims about Nikola Tesla and his patents on radiant energy collection and
his wireless power transmission patents, there seems to be questionable information being thrown around the internet,
and words put into Tesla's mouth that he never actually spoke or wrote.

Regarding Tesla's wireless energy transmission, Tesla never anywhere claimed that I am aware of that
this could ever produce more power out at the receiver than is put into the system. If someone knows otherwise,
please provide a reference to where Tesla ever stated otherwise in his own actual words, patents, or writings.
Here, Tesla in his own words, makes it clear that the power out is less than the power in, in his wireless power transmission designs:

In regards to the term radiant energy, which many people sometimes throw around in regards to tesla coils,
I don't believe Tesla ever stated that tesla coils either emit or collect radiant energy. Tesla in his patent
specifies a polished insulated metal plate for collecting what he calls radiant energy, not a tesla coil. He
also does not mention a tesla coil as a source of radiant energy. In his patent #685,957, Tesla mentions
sources of 'radiant energy' as radiations from the sun, cathodic radiation, roentgen tubes (x-rays), and ultraviolet light.
Tesla mentions that radiant energy is associated with short wavelength radiation (high frequency radiation). Tesla theorized that
this radiant energy included the emission of 'minute particles of matter which are strongly electrified'. Whether Tesla was
right about that or not, he doesn't seem to have associated radiant energy with Tesla coils, which Tesla ran
at much lower frequencies than the very high frequencies he has described for radiant energy sources. If anyone
has a reference to something Tesla actually wrote or said that suggests otherwise, I would be interested
to see it.

Also all receivers in N. Tesla experiments had opposite direction of windings...

So I mentioned I got a Kacher to 1.78Mhz....
I got around to swapping grenades; they all responded to 1.78Mhz
Finally I just shorted the leads around the coil, and still got the same output...  actually a little higher


Misleading resonances.


at this frequency swapping grenades had 0 effect... when I was between 500-800Khz swapping grenades had a direct effect such that the higher the inductance of the grenade the lower the frequency.


I have 29nF capacitance between kacher secondary and grenade and then an AV-plug around the diode; and now just the cap and ground on one side...
adding capacitance had 0 effect on frequency; was testing for a while with 2 and 11, then added a couple more 9's and frequency stayed the same...
(Edit2: for fun calcultated inductance for 1.78Mhz and 29nF; inductance would be .276uH or 276nH )

transmitting through antenna alone was ineffective.


and actually even when I was using an antenna mostly a long time ago; it worked best to connect the end of that to a capacitance to ground so I could get a current flowing in the antenna; which makes it more of in inductive link than an EM Wave link ?  (Edti: Actually capacitance to ground was always bad... but an open air capacitance worked... metal plates; heat sinks; something... early I had the flouresent bulb in a fence post cap that was the terminal capacitance on the antenna... once the bulb lit, had good signal in the grenade )

Hi T-1000. Thanks! Ok, that's interesting. I have read through that patent and saw nothing mentioned about
winding directions, but didn't notice that the winding direction was drawn in different directions for both
the primary and secondary windings on the transmitter and receiver. That is interesting that it was drawn that way.
Definitely worth experimenting with to see if there is any noticeable benefit to doing it that way, or if that was just
how whoever chose to draw it for whatever reason.
