NickZ It is a good idea to experiment with this kit Tl494 You get the frequency regulation beautifully nicely except that there not entirely solve the problem
-I do not know whether this is in all assays But when the system is working and inductor coil heats up, further come interference with Tesla Coils while working in the system frequency dissipates.
Maybe someone will be able to answer this question?

i don't understand that question.
when "not using the TL board" there is no signal, so there is nothing for "going straight into your fet drivers"

-if you had some time and tried to make some arrangement for the TL494 using a 3 pin to comparator (you had any ideas what would have helped us)
