T1000 That's an interesting idea but Ruslan does talk about that but he does suggests a magnification of 10 times, is that Ten 2 x sustain ? or f 2 to the power of ten  ? ;) my guess is its around 1.7 to 2mhz but another thing is the Oscillator output coil I would think that would be half the length of the grenade coil about 18.75 to 20 meters it would need to be dead accurate in length, I think that would be worth a go myself if you have the test know how and equipment we can get our grubby hands on.

This current is measured directly on the 10 Ohm resistor
and in the coil called the "inducer" is the generator?

You can drive over yoke for finding frequency if you like but also grenade inductor attached to the MOSFET would do the job. After finding frequency your series LC  from the yoke should be set to that frequency.

Thanks T-1000. Using a FET driving the inductor winding directly would seem to rule out the current peak being
due to the ferrite core then. Interesting. Are you seeing this current peak in your own tests T-1000? If so, around
which frequency? I will give this a try shortly...
