   Yes, if that really is the case. But, no spark on the spark gap on that Ruslan's latest video, brings up some questions, doesn't it.
Kapanadze may have gone to the electronic components route, as well, instead of the spark gap. As Hoppy suggests. To please the spark gap idiots he places the false spark gap.  Or, maybe the SG is steaming, but not with a normal visible streamer that we all know and love. Who knows...

  We don't know at what frequency Tesla's aether streamers were at, nor any other detail.  Or do we?  But, he does mention that you've got to tune for the right frequency, to get the amplification effect. Nothing about mixing frequencies, as with high voltage low current with high current low voltage. As is the akula/ruslan devices.

   The question remains, as to what is the difference between that type of Tesla Transformer, and it's safe white thick aetheric streamers, compared to just our normal everyday HV oscillator/coil devices, and their much smaller purple/white flares?

Its also possible that Kapanadze's spark gap on his 2015 device just failed to work and as eye candy simply made no difference to operation of the device.

I'm sure you have seen those very long, thick white streamers on those music modulated TC's seen on YT and seen the circuit diagrams for them using conventional coils and oscillators. I suggest the only significant difference between Tesla's streamers and the streamers seen on the various sized TC's seen on YT is supply power levels.

However, there is some kind of a current conversion at a metal plate (shovel), aluminum sheet, etz... with resulting current to light a bulb.
   The duty cycle was controlled by the spark gap. Which has special properties at certain frequencies,  which one has to tune for, to see any amplification.

Tesla say too , to not use all power in anttena . because will only loosed in space . a big difference between their theory and Hertz theories.

Talking about Tesla stuff, I just finished my new spaced tesla secondary for fast rising HV pulses.

Hi re your coil can I just ask if it's for the Katcher transmission coil ? only I can't help notice all the other devices are half the length or the grenade coil as it's 1/4 wave that would make it something like 20m or I spose 10m could be used with spacing to cover 1/2 the grenade length.

I was wondering what your logic might be behind it ?

That coil is intended as part of Ruslan device - kacher coil. Indeed that kacer wire length have 1/2 length of the grenade. It look longer because is spaced - it has 20.7cm.
Grenade wire length = 38.8M , house electric wire, multi stranded, cross-section 2.5mm2
Kacer wire lenght = 19.4M, 0.88mm diameter;
