MegaOhm resistor??? Do you mean connecting my fg in parallel with tank's cap but with the high value resistance in between them? hmmm interesting! What happens on here? Both tank's capacitor and the output capacity of the f.g. are utilized as a series cap???

If you happen to have a 12 volt out, Universal Input power supply, I'd sure be curious to know if it can sustain looped operation.


I'll be winding some long secondaries shortly.  Did you go just past the mid-point when you changed direction?  Your schema and coil picture looks like about 2/3rds split.

If you ask me that's the million dollar question ! the feed back techneque used here in that video, but Void made a comment we had already covered all that !
