   Well, at least you're trying to understand. However, it's not so difficult. But, it's not something that can be explained in a few words. Even our scientists mention that the the cosmos it expanding. So, what is it that is expanding, other than the visible worlds? Empty space?  Tesla mentioned that there is no such thing as empty space, all space is full of energy.
So, yes, there is motion even without matter. As all matter is dependent on the medium (Cosmic Soup) that it flows in, but, not the other way around.
  No, the Aether is not the same as photons, just like x-rays, or infrared, is not the same. Although all frequencies come from the same source, that does not make them the same. 
   
   Although my information does not come from Tesla, it predates it, nor will I discuss my source, although the ideas are similar.
And as Tesla had a very unique and understandable way to explain it all, much better than what I can do. If you only took the time to read his points of view. Our greatest inventor, of all time, based his whole concept on the Aether. Believe it or not.

   The Russian guys showing self runners were not taught that these things were not possible.  Like we were.

   As I've mentioned I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. Especially if they think that they already know it all.

   On a different note,
  There are already many multi-dimentional space craft coming in closer and closer to make first contract with us here on Earth. However, they are still testing us for acceptance to their technologies, and seeing if we are still going to try to shoot them out of our skies, as was done previously. Their technology is not anything like ours, and so, we have much to learn from them.
For them there is no "traveling" to get from one point to another, or from one dimension to another. Which is done in no time, and does not take thousands of light years. But, once they have rematerialized into our dimension, their ships can be seen moving about.
   The Phoenix Lights were back a week ago, over Arizona, this is their third visit since 1997.  Mile long craft, seen and videoed by thousands.  Which can appear and disappear at will. They are also expected to be seen again this fall.  We'll see.

  The Aether can't be measured by using our current technologies. Yet, it's physical effects can be observed, such as what happens when the plug is pulled, and a self runner continues on. Those effects can be measured, as the output of a such devices.

I agree with the motional relativity of magnetic and electric fields. I do not think that the majority of electric current is carried by charged electrons.
I noticed that the article does not account for the relative motion with respect to the positive charges on the inner cylinder of the core ...it only accounts for the relative motion with respect to the negatively charged outer cylinder.  Why the unequal treatment?

On the practical side I am surprised by the high length to diameter ratio of the coil described in this article.
Also, I's like to notice that the insulation of an enameled cooper wire cannot withstand 30kV.  I am unclear whether this electric potential difference occurs between the outer cylinder and the coil.

I think there were some experiments done on this forum with a similar device called "Captret" or "Capcoil" but there were significant differences in their configuration.


P.S.
The member Grumage might be uniquely positioned to do this experiment because he has a HV electrostatic machine, a lathe for quickly winding the 1.2m coil, good mechanical skills and a scope.  The only thing he might not have is wire of appropriate size, so you might want to order it for him.

A lath so he can make fly wheels, an easy way to make excess energy ! I must pay him a visit sometime if he is ok about getting stuff working

                 My answer is:  I believe in multi-dimentional reality. And that non physical reality is the source of all physical worlds.
   The material worlds and their movements, is only a small fraction of total picture.
   These other worlds unseen by us, some call them Etheric dimensions or worlds, aren't material, like this one is. They are moving. But, invisible to us.
   The above, is only to point out my understanding of where the ever present Aether come from, from these Etheric non physical dimentions.
  One could call the Aether units,  Aether particles, although they are not a material particle. More similar to light, so not to get too confusing.
   I don't know if that was you were asking about, somehow I doubt it. But, that is my reply.

Thanks for your take on the coil details for George's device. I also counted 10 to 15 turns for L4 by eye.

Hi Hoppy. Just to clarify, the info I gave on the different coils and frequencies came directly
from George's own schematics and comments. The only thing that I estimated myself was the L4 coil.
