I find interesting any technique that induces beats at low frequencies. There is something on to it. Ruslan tunes with a similar manner his grenade. Beats show sw interaction. I wonder if this behavior has to do with the cw ccw grenade winding direction. Even if it is one wire, they are two different coils with two different self resonant frequencies. A slight variation in length will give a slight frequency difference. This difference will be shown as a waveform modulated by this difference (beat). It looks like that this beat is an evidence of the right tuning.

If you are able to use the UPS again, try raising or lowering it to various heights above ground with wood blocks or cardboard boxes to fine tune / vary lamp brightness.

I managed to do the test, No difference observed.
All sorts of heights tested.
Even placed it on the part flat roof of my house and still operating.

Today will be trying it out with the Akula version Kacher which i have shown in vid.
It will be sharing the signals of Push-pull driver on the outputs of IR2110.
Lets see how this one works .

Geo Hi one question I have to ask, while I was doing some experiments I noticed a lot of heat from my original grenade coil wound with PVC insulated cable on PVC drain pipe (cheep job) I was wondering how or what did you use to wind your device on ?

It might be an idea to use a postal tube but i don't think they supply in small quantities.  Other wise the unit will die of short time sag and i wouldn't wish that on any one

My first grenade was wound on normal water PVC 50mm diameter.
the PVC at the very end where there the wires come out became brittle because of heat some time ago.
but still good. 
New Grenade is of same diameter but of a much better heat resistant PVC.
I think Carbon Fiber tubes like that will be the best to handle this situation if it becomes hot inside.

You can stick cardboard on PVC pipe but beware that it will increase the thickness of  the pipe and you will change the parameter of the coil.
You can glue paper or cardboard or prespaper on PVC pipe for secondary Tesla and Grenade coil, will have a high frequency .

I had a surprise in my case , the wire was 2.4 mm Sq not 2,5 and the PVC pipe was 1,6 mm thickness not 2mm like Ruslan device.

  the most important is if you use the calculator is that two lines on the graph to meet.
  so, measure copper wire without insulation and with isolation, measure PVC tube thickness, use the computer and see if it is closer to reality
