I've watched both of Geo's recent videos. A few observations: -

His very yuk cheapo ammeter is very likely not giving an accurate indication of current draw and its not clear whether the meter is showing both push-pull and Kacher circuit current draw, as the power supplies may be split.

His push-pull mosfets mounted under the PCB are not fitted with substantial heat sinks and presumably not overheating, so it may be that he has optimised mosfet protection and / or, that his toroidal transformer is matching well to the push-pull, both in terms of physical core and winding config (ref comments from Alien).

No mention of bulb wattage.

Not sure if a earth ground wire was connected during demo.

The optimum tuning point for brightest bulb appears to be when tuned just off RM using hand capacitance.

It appears that full control of the Kacher waveform with the Akula control board is essential for fine tuning and stable operation.

Geo is still running around with bare feet and wonders why he is getting badly zapped!

What !  are you looking at the right video ? should have gone to spec savers

may i remind you guys you have a legal responsible for giving knowingly bonafied advice and could be leaving your self open to both criminal and private prosecution if knowingly giving deliberate misguided advice. Well, I am still working with him on that bit. And as it is still work-in-progress we decided just to share videos for everyone to see while progressing further.
The yoke which is disconnected from grenade got almost accidentally catching effect. But if you did follow old Russian experiments there are some similarities with the spark gap/antenna setups near transformers.
Also it is worth to note, the Geo's "mediator" have no effect now and we got same effect under control with interruptable akula's katcher.
