You can prove this yourself just hold a neon by it both electrodes emit light (ionization),  =How come some setups use an old TV line output device with a built in rectifier ?

Some tip from tiger (youtube - tiger20007ly):
If you have P-N junction as collecting plates on the sides of ionized air source which are in circuit having free oscillation (regenerative detector receiver similarity) effectively the ions/radio emissions/plasma/etc may become your power source for the load right there..

Why did you remove your image of the "cheater wires"? There are several places in the video where they show up quite well.


This wouldn't be the first time a "cheater" relied on things too small or dim to see in a video, to produce his effect. Remember the fishing line powered HoJo motors?

High voltage + low current = large power transfer through tiny wires, and high frequency helps. Don't let your preconceptions affect your perceptions, or the conclusions you draw from them.

Hmm! so would it be an advantage to use a HV blocking diode from the Katcher (Tesla coil) onto the aerial coil or not ? or to add a collector plate ?

Well i've seen a good few 'Wasacks do there' performance on here, any way my terms are send or bring the FE device where i can see it work for my self then I pay for it, not the other way round, who knows whats used inside the coils or tin can (probably uranium coated in semiconductor material

Yes indeed. I later saw that the wires are clearly shown connected to the plug, which is why I removed the image , as they were not intended as 'cheater wires' in that particular video. That was quick eyeballing of my image TK!
