Don't forget,.... i m not in here for the jackpot, i m happy and can buy almost everything i need.
For me its more or less to "stay away from the street" 

I like more the "game" (bench) instead of "winning" (OU).
And also .. i m now ..  what is it.. 1.5 years active with these kinds of electronics and coils......  i ll think i will spend a vew years more...  i m just starting.
I m still a newbie....comparing the time and practise you spend here.


Just give me another 2 or 3 years to go...  perhaps we can say by then how it all has to be build......   or we can say it was all a hoax.

No matter what comes out..  i still will enjoy it.
This is how i see it,... just for preventing to get frustated by having wrong expectations.


So for the timebeing i agree with Hoppy's last post,....do your tests,...  burn some FET's, PS, Diodes and i hope also to burn a grenade too.
Maybe then the "missing link" is understood...... instead of making it look like magic.

Now let me show you this little gem, but don't get too bipolar over it though because I made it on a bread board and it doesn't work for me joke. Anyway it makes a narrow pulse like a heart beat and the mono pulses the Mos Fet to modulate it but the circuit is a bit crap as the max feq the sw mode can do is 62 khz and the coil resonates at over 100khz so if you want to play with it be my guest.
Be aware it's been on the net for years i down loaded it in 2012 and just re found it and thought i would have a play.

    You did not mention how you're making out with your device, or if you're still working on this.

   I've been having to retune most everything, to see any interaction or sufficient power to run the feed back circuit, along with a bulb. Yesterday I blew out two 25w bulbs, which I've not seen happen before. Something kicked in when adding a 0.1uf tuning cap on the grenade output coil. And blew those bulbs right out.
  Did you say something about blowing something up...My grenade's inductor coil gets so hot it bends the  plastic former pipe. I had to straighten it out, it gets too hot to touch with bare hands. I may have to add more windings on it
  My electric bill this last month was less than $20.  I'm also in no rush,  and enjoy the bench, but, I don't like being stuck in a rut.  And am looking into doing what I can about it.

   Wrong expectations???  I enjoy it too, but I'm not taking it lightly. I expect to reach the desired results, sooner or later.
Frustration is part of the process, and stumbling along the way is expected. I'm not afraid of being frustrated, I'm more concerned about not seeing any progress, so far. And so, looking for some serious solutions...

  I now feel like I'm threading in uncharted waters...

You at least have an advantage over some of us, in that you are not technically trained in electrics / electronics to the point where you become convinced that free energy from a contraption like this is a nonsense.
