I watched it,..... but i cannot make up what it is or not in relation to the Ruslan setup.

I only see a kind of grenade with probally a extra coil on the tube.
I see no kacher or tesla,...  instead i think i see a ingnition coil from a car
i see a spark cap and a big capacitor
i see some elecronics.( to the right- looks like a pushpull circuit) .. which ( as i m not clear) is connected to the bobine
And i see a small board with a TO220 transistor/ mosfet what might causes the spark gap to interrupt

If you have related info please share,..  due it is not very usefull when we don 't know what is going on..
I can post a lot of vids showing all kinds of bulbs get powered on

This device is using a pulsed TV flyback transformer, microwave cap  to produce HV to flash light the low powered flouro lamp. As with all these videos that purport to show a self-running device with the classic tried and tested 9V battery latching starter circuit  , it cannot be ruled out that a hidden power supply is being used. Therefore, this type of poorly presented demo self-runner claim is of little use to us. Most of us could easily knock-up this demo using a small nicad or lithium hidden battery pack. However, this video from his collection is more interesting and may form the basis of his self-runner if genuine.

I must agree with you on this one regarding the lithium batery..  altough i strongly have a feeling this guy is doing things in the right direction.
As also the attached vid can t be manupilated with hidden battery pack's.

To bad there is no more explanation or subtittle..... due i would asume there is not much of rocket sience to create in a wire going trough the torroids?

Maybe some interesting observation is the Aluminium foil.... there are more claims also made by Ruslan or Akula that Aluminium used as wire (i.e. antenna) in combination with copper.

Agreed. Just a single turn 1:! transformer but when inserted into an ali tube inside a grenade coil - similar setup to the Kapagen - then maybe the rocket starts to rock??

I have a strong hunch that persevering with the Ruslan setup as presented is a waste of time. If I were to resume experimenting, I would introduce some fuel in the form of ferrite.  This is the direction I would tend to work in.

The point I was getting at the EHT is DC and not very high in that circuit, he had a few others where he used a Diode Capacitor tripling circuit pulse the capacitor would control the width (peek voltage). but you still need timing for sucking peek current from the ground.
