Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Ok, I waited for some time and nobody posted and no spam. Lets see is the spam comes back when I post this

Mags

Magluvin

Well no spam for a few min. Maybe they went to sleep.

verpies

Spam should be impossible withe these 3 points.
1) DELETE FROM smf_members WHERE posts=0.
2) Newbies cannot post until they pass a simple technology test (multiple choice questions) or are vetted by an existing member.
3) Existing members posting spam = instant demotion to a Newbie status (see pt.2), but still having an option to PM and appeal to the Moderator in case somebody (or some trojan) used their account without their knowledge. Mandatory password change.

Also, the button to report a post as spam to the Admin/Mod should work well for all registered users. It would be a good idea to automatically demote a user to Newbie status (see pt.3) if the total spam reports add up to more than 10000 spam points.

These spam points should be counted according to the number of posts made be the spam-reporter.
For example if Magluvin reports some post as a spam then the user that posted it receives 2833 spam points and if Verpies reports it then he receives additional 780 spam points.
Once the spammer receives more than 10000 spam points (or more spam points then the number of his posts), his posting rights are revoked (see pt.3) and his reported posts are automatically deleted or moved to an archive / trash bin.

This way the community would moderate itself even when the Admin is sleeping.

Site definitely does load faster this morning here in South Texas. Good work.

use your database sql statement tool.

DELETE FROM smf_members WHERE posts=0;

and bob's your auntie...

I could do this,
but then I will loose many email adresses of all the members who just look
but don´t post...

If we would have an urgent announcement I would miss these people cause they are no longer
in the userdatabase, if I want to send a newsletter out...

Also they would have to reregister then again...

Well, so I better try to fix the postcount moderation, so new users will be put automatically
on moderation...until I see, if they just post spam or not...

Regards, Stefan.
