Something that i thought id mention since i have seen the error in this thread more than a few times and it sickens me that so many simply do not know.

America is not now nor has it ever been a democracy, our founding fathers despised democracy. They called it the tyrany of the majority,
or two wolves and a sheep voting on whats for dinner.
Democracy is not to be found in the constitution at all not even once.

We are a Constitutional republic, the governments purpose was to protect the individual NOT the majority. Read the constitution and the bill of rights. If our Gov were to have tried doing in the late 1800s and early 1900s they would have been hung for treason, as they should be now.

at the very least watch these and learn.

I too hate that democracy crap the government tries to teach us. And then when some one puts up their hand and askes, why didn't our founding fathers ever talk about democracy in a good way, they get a reply that basicaly when summed up says, the founding fathers didn't know what they were talking about. Because they say it in a good discrete way, the individual is silenced. WTF? What is this crap? Representative Democracy, besides not being a real form of government, is basicaly democratic oligarchy. Where the majority desides the fate of the people by electing a sociopath to help lead them. Does nazi germany ring a bell? Thats exactly how hitler came into power. I'm almost done with highschool right now, and all i've done in history classes is try to ignore the propaganda storm the teachers throw at us. Why a Constitutional Republic is fair is because, in the judicial branch(the heart of a republic), the constitution is all power. Thus no one or majority can take away your born rights. It's all broken down to collectivism vs individualism, or, democracy vs constitutional republic. It's the scariest thing to date, so many sheep getting taught lies. Wake UP PEOPLE!!!

coin - you are correct of course.  That's why we need to elect people who understand that they serve at the whim of the public... and that they should vote that way... with strict adherence to the constitution.
Our elected representatives should uphold the constitution first and foremost... and legislate the will of the people within that frame.

I am also voting Ron Paul, and IN fact me and other friends have been handing out flyers going door to door trying to wake the sheep up.
If he doesnt make office it will be Civil War people and deny that all they want but it will happen. That is if the 2008 election is even allowed to take place, I Expect Our Dictator to declare martial law and start the Civil War himself.
