I think Hendershot source was  scalar energy because his design of the basketweave antenna had wires crossing at right angles.   But we need the symmetry of the Hans Coler device, see here:

Here we have the hex pattern with a platform  designed to move  the coils apart for tuning.  The wiring is even more simple than Hendershot.  So, instead of bar magnets, your coils are used.  Perhaps, one could use single shot pulse on the driving coil, and watch for ringing in the other coils.  By adjusting the frequency and the distance between the coils, a sort of resonance could be determined?
