Maybe, nobody´s here interested into this - anyway - due to the presence of some US citizen on this forum - I would be interested into their opinion as well as all of you.
Its quite strange that newspaper coverage in US on that topic reminds me on reading eastern block media in the 80ties.
Theres a quite huge coverage in the rest of the world - and discussions about what - how and why is ongoing.
It even looks like almost any western "democracy" can be corrupted "on demand" if US is on the line.
Even more strange on that coverage - that US diplomacy obviously - has no problem with the image that they can pay any nation off.

Maybe because they think they have lost their face to the world, anyway.
The only comment was "everybody does it" - "give us that traitor"

That entire situation is higly Orwellish-Matrix-Running Man-alike.

How does it feel to live in such a "democracy" ? Or is everything OK under the hood ?

Not that I disagree with you but, just for the record, The USA is not, nor has it ever been, a democracy.  Our founding fathers knew that a democracy would never work.  (I live in the US)  Jefferson described a democracy as 2 wolves and a sheep voting on what is for dinner.  We actually live in a representative republic, as founded.  Sadly, the document that has worked for us for a long time, and was created to be the solid ground for future generations, the Constitution, has been run over and ignored by many of our leaders going back to FDR.  Our current President is making an Olympic sport of ignoring our founding documents.  Once we, the people, allowed them to stray without a fight, I suppose we deserve what we get.  I fear for our once great country.  They keep trying to take our guns, that is all we have left, once they do that, it is over.

Guns?  Guns are the "red pill".  Pacification by distraction is the "blue pill".  Either way, if you take their 'medicines' you become a part of their matrix....and a dumbed down rabbit hole to hell it has long proven to be!  Any other students of history remember when it was bows and arrows? And before that it was spears....on back to rocks, knives, clubs and fists. 

Before Christ, what was left to men to topple empires?  Christ topples the shallow foundations of man's undertakings all with the WORD.  What we have today is exactly what was foretold to come...and in great detail. 

Your guns won't save anyone.  Just as their missiles, lasers, exotic flying craft, and clever exploits won't save them.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness"

Get right with our Creator in Christ.  Or get left in outer darkness with the other, even bigger rebels against His Righteous Statutes.  Rebels of every degree, but rebels all, just the same....sharing the same outcome of the choices they've made for themselves.

Are you paying attention to the promised signs of the times?
Is the truth easier to swallow if it's doled out in rhymes?

Where was the moon at this summer solstice and why does it matter?  Or are most simply interested in making themselves fatter?
