I put this thread in this forum, because from my understanding, the "engine" powering this craft was a solid state device. I would like to hear your thoughts on the vid, and the validity of the whole thing. It seems to me, like if this thing had all the press coverage that he's saying it got in the vid, we'd all be living in a much different world today. Space travel to other planets, super fast intercontinental travel, free energy, etc. Thoughts? Opinions?

Oh, there is traffic here all right. But none of it is "searl powered". The claims in the video you linked are false, and the Godin-Roschin "work" is somewhere between a joke and a hoax. There is no concrete evidence for any of it. Searl has some "hangers on" who are using his name in a cynical attempt to make a profit, that's all.

Thank you for the reply. But could you please elaborate? How have the claims been proven false? I would like to learn more about this. Are there any relevant threads on this forum about searl? The google search this forum employs is painfully inadequate.
