Thank you for some sort of reply, questions are always helpful. as for the details, the concept is a vibration converter so basically it would be a generator but the configuration will look somewhat like a battery,

so in order of those that actually replied and asked questions

@Groundloop I have read that, and I am only confused at the lack of those who have posted here that do not fit in this list of requirements. some are talking development and wanting to hold a discussion about it, which this is not the place for that.

my discussion is only in clarifying a few details to ensure that it does not get ruled out after being applied for. As I said the money I would not collect it personally, I would instead wish to receive something to verify that it went to a worth while cause, (not sure what happened to watercone.com and their attempt to provide units to the people in africa and other developing areas to ensure clean drinking water would be able to be obtained)  but that is a good example of what I would expect the money to go toward.

as for opensource, yes if I apply then it would ofcourse be open source, but we would need to secure it some how to ensure that it does not end up being closed up by a 3rd party. So we would need to look into a way to secure it in the public domain so everyone can use it for anything from personal use all the way up to corporate use, with out any restrictions.

the process is so far proving to be quite simple and easy to do at home,

1. the electrodes are mentioned. as they are not consumed but are actually created initially and are only there for the purpose of ensuring the energy generated by the piezo effect are controlled like a diode stops backward flow, with one more effect(this creates a sort of hill so that the electrons flow one direction really, so it does more than a typical diode does, where it only backs up and stops flow from going the other way, and does nothing to promote energy that is available to go the desired direction.)

So no they are not consumed, and would only degrade in the atmosphere they same way your car body will rust if it is not protected. batteries degrade no matter what, if you use them, this if coated will not degrade over time as there is no way for the metals to interact with a substance that it can bond with to create a molecular formula.

2. ambient as in the vibrations caused by the temperature that is just naturally around you. so no special heating or cooling process would be needed. and the atmosphere does indeed consist of molecules, which Dun dun DUNNNNN are made of atoms! this part really makes no sense, you seem to be making it sound like atoms stop being atoms when they share electrons to form molecular configurations. so I am not sure what you even mean here. however I will try to figure it out and say this, (as this seems to be your question or the best guess on what it is to me) the ambient temp that causes these atoms IN the molecules you point out existing, to continue to vibrate even when they are combined together to form molecules. all atoms are vibrating no matter what state they are in, with the believed state of absolute zero temps, (which we still have not solidly seen so we are not sure if they stop even then. but that is for another entirely different discussion.


So a solid state device that produces electricity even if it looks like a battery if it does not run down, should be able to apply is what I am gathering here correct?

Yes I am sure I will get more feedback, with more info, I just needed to know what sort of info I should be bringing to the table to get the questions I have answered appropriately. and I am quite aware that some members need to be ignored lol. this seems to be the case anywhere you go, though on IAEC I have found a much lower amount per capita of that sort of people, and usually only some of the time. as they have good input at least most of the time lol.

The prize money here is just a symbolic gesture. Your goal should be to first have a functional prototype and second to have numerous third party replications, everything else is irrelevant imo if you're targeting the public domain. The very idea of free energy destroys a system of money but that's too philosophical, let's get back to the science and build your prototype .
