I've watched the GIF.

There is an electrical input ? at the yellow bands in the drawing ? Coils ?

I guess I'm not understanding what is going on in the drawings, GIF.

Could use more explanation.

As you know I am also enthusiastic about your work.

Also, I am going  build something based on of your designs, in the near future, if all goes well.

I hope others are thinking along these lines as well

The copper colored elements are coil windings. There are two coils. Notice the round "bulbs" in the coil circuit. The top bulbs are not glowing because the magnet on the left is not moving.
Now notice in the lower illustration that the magnet has moved to the right and has caused the magnetic field in the coil core to reduce to zero. This causes a voltage current in the coils and notice the "bulbs" are now glowing with yellow light due to the voltage current from the coils. The same thing happens when the magnet is moved back to the left and the magnetic field builds up in the coil core and induces a voltage current in the coil but in the opposite direction. I think it would be fare to say that it is a form of AC generator. The cycles per second would be a function of the number of magnet cycles per second.
With a .005" or less air gap at the magnet poles and the core material designed to be eddy current free the magnet movement with be as though it were made of wood and the changing magnetic field will not effect it's movement at all. We verified this many times in video's. The core material does need to stay under saturation though at all times.

That's exactly what I've been thinking as well.  Any time I'm working on designs that are based on your concepts, that's what I look for as well.  The pseudo solid principle is definitely something that has merit, and I wish I had materials to build your designs.  Every design I've been working on has been utilizing some form of this.  No other concept has came close to convincing me like these have!

I'd love to help you as much as I can, my time and money is limted (it seems we all have this problem).  I can do FEMM work, anything in 2D that can be done.  For anything that overlaps, it's a bit more difficult but there are workarounds.  Any time you need an FEMM done let me know, I'll see what I can do!  I know having the group disbanded makes things more difficult.


Oh, and in the FEMM, if soft ferrite or lamintations are used, there is no cogging torque or drag on the magnets at any interval, it's as if the magnet is moving along and can't see anything else going on.  It's exciting.

Yes, when that magnet moves with no resistance but changes the position of the entire magnetic field coming from those super strong NIB magnets, well it's a magical feeling. Thanks for helping out. The FEEM's will be of great value during this project.

Speaking for my self, the prospect of finding that magnets can to do work, is definitely, more frightening
than any amount of concern I have, that an idea will not pan out.
