PS   You might be right in that we had to kill a lot of folks that were trying to take over France, England, Australia, Africa, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Japan, but is that the fault of the USA?  So, shooting a guy that breaks into my home makes me a bad guy then?  Oh, you can't do that in Aussie anymore because you surrendered your weapons.  Great choice.  I doubt that this gives you any reason to bash the USA.  Maybe next time we will bail you out....maybe we won't.

Yep,your government at the time certainly sorted out japan. Japan attacked a military base (pearl harbour),and the American government droped 2 hydrogen bomb's on cities (hiroshima,nagasaki)full of men ,women and children in reply-to end the war they said.

Next up- we didnt give up our gun's,we still have them. Only certain semi automatic weapons were taken,and they were taken from us by another idiotic government-yep,ours. Sounds like your time is coming soon as well-wont be long now. Our police arnt up to scratch with your new military style cop's yet,and i see that they can just come crashing through your house without a warrent now-you must be living the dream over there. Ever since the USA placed boosters on several "M" type asteroids, and can now target any country with total (but natural) extinction, it seems that the old nuclear weapons don't have much value any more.
Nuclear power is now only good for power generation and it's not even real good for that.

Well, certainly, governments are far different from the people.  It should not be this way, but it is.  I have no real respect for my government, and have not since Reagan was in office.  But, I do respect the sacrifice our people made on behalf of the world, and now many times over.  They did not want to do this but they did.  The only reason the US has a lot of blood on their hands is because they have saved the world like 3 times now.  When Hitler invaded your country, you could have just asked him to leave...right?  Oh, wait, you needed the USA to kick him out of there...OK.  So, we killed people saving you....so now you blame us for that?  You really need to study history and do some soul searching before you delve into this type of topic.  Yes, we made the bomb and yes we blew folks up....but...the war ended dammit, and that saved millions of lives......war sucks but that is the way it is.  Get used to it...get over it...or get out of the way.  Maybe you want the Muslims to take over AU?  When they do...you might need some help as you have no guns over there.  Don't get me wrong...they have been trying to do the same thing over here (the government) with our guns but, they know that this will never happen without a fight.  You guys should not have given up so easily.

Lumen, with the President we have in office....we are weak and the world knows it.  Russia, China, North Korea...etc.  I hate war and I hate that we have to have wars but...we have had to have them.  I work in the security field and you would not believe why security is needed.  I see it every day.

I know my history well than pirate. Germany's big invasion of Australia was 6 surface raiders,over a period of 3 years-1940 to 1943. They took out a couple of cargo ship's and the HMAS Sydney-hardly an invasion. We had no help from the USA in that regard.-->>Hitler never invaded our country pirate-never stepped foot on our shores,so maybe you better have a look into history a little. You might be thinking that our country was invaded by hitler because as a British dominion, Australia was automaticly involved in the war with Germany-once again,draged into something we didnt want to know about.

The problem with the gun thing here pirate,is that most here dont want weapons that can do mass harm by one person-(1 in 11 people own guns here)!!only the governments of the world are aloud to possess weapons of mass distruction and death!!. The thing that most of the world dosnt know is-us Aussies are actually smarter than the government. You see,there is a way around the governments ban to own semi automatic rifles,a legal way(every action has an equal and opposite reaction). You simply joined a gun club,and you get to keep your gun's.So it really was a waste of time,but it got the vote of the people,and the government was re elected over the gun buy back sceem-do you see the pattern now?,and people still really think it's guns that kill people.What they dont realise is that a crim can buy any gun he wants on the black market. No it dosnt,but what country has invaded your home? .If some one was breaking into some blokes house in the next street to yours,and you went over there and shot him dead,what would happen to you then?,thats right,you'd get ya arse locked up. Some times i just dont get it. Take 911 for instance.
