Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Not possible? Read on and asses.

First thing you need is land of course, which i do not have or i would have an example already.

You will need to be on a large hill, in the mountains or build a large tower.  So to start with a large pool, pond or container for the water. So you will pump the water from the source to the top of the wheel to turn a generator to generate power, batteries will have to start the pump to start with, then a switching circuit will go from batteries to generator to run the pump. Want to store power add more batteries ( not necessary ) This power should be enough to run the pump. Catch the water from below the wheel on a channeled ramp and let it flow to another wheel below it for more power. Need more do it again ect...  Then have the water end up at the source to be used again.

So simple i am sure others have done it but i have never ever seen one or seen it posted. I see no reason this should not work. Some day i will build it. Have at it if you wish.

First off, let me say that I am glad you left the word "and" in between the words, "read on" and "asses" in your second sentence.  I was reading a little fast and glossed over it the first time.  If you'd left it off, such a sentiment would have fit right in here on the forum, such as it is, as of late.

I gather that you were speaking of something like the following, but of much greater scale?

There are numerous pumped hydro installations around.  While they are useful and among the lowest cost ways of storing energy, none of them self-power.

Nice machine, but not at all like i meant.   Water wheel would be high enough to drop water on another water wheel to run another wheel with same water and repeat as necessary.

Hi folks, hi roth, i have thought about your idea in the past as well.
How about a smaller scale floor model, 4-5 feet high or so to run some led lights or charge batteries in addition to the ones for the water pump.
At least with this smaller model, we should be able to prove the concept.
The water wheels could be unbalanced water paddle arms that extend and retract as it goes around, that might increase output.
I'll draw something up here when i get the chance.
