New technological association is being formed

Just to give you an update:

We're now over 70 founding members and things have slowed down quite a bit.  I'm hoping we'll have 100 members by the end of the month, and if we won't I stated earlier on in the project that it won't form if we don't receive 100 members.  I should have made the goal 50 (hindsight is 20/20), oh well.  Any support from people on this forum is appreciated.

The poll for the name of the international association and logo is open and will end at the end of the month.

Interestingly, only half the people have voted, which is pretty good considering.

I've mentioned before that I designed a toy that will demonstrate the stored energy in magnets and it will run continuously until the components wear out due to the friction and forces.  The design uses Steorn's LEMA, and is the first step in the process of Steorn's claim.  This design will only be available to registered members.

Did Steorn now move on and did release some final
infos what they have ?
Have had no time to check all of their forum pages...

I have designed a toy that uses the LEMA patent.  I haven't built it yet.  Steorn has said that their LEMA is NOT part of the core technology in their claim.  Nevertheless, the LEMA, if it works the way they say it does, and the toy I designed is built, this would be a good indication that Steorn may have something with their new motor and deserve some credit at least instead of a complete shut out.  Mind you, the toy is pretty useless, but very useful at the same time. 

The process of Steorn's claim is a challenge on members of the association, if we can build and test a device based on what information Steorn has given before the Jury decides, I cannot predict what that will do for the association, though it is highly unlikely, but very challenging.  It would be too funny if we actually build something that works...

This will also provide this new association with a simple toy that with a corporate sponsor, we will give away for free for obvious reasons.  Then the snowball effect starts.

I will admit their forum is a bit wonky and it is unmoderated.  The traffic on it has dropped drastically due to alot of flaming and immature remarks by many, but at the time we started this it was a great launching pad.

I can only hope that we continue to progress and do the best to provide a much needed balance between the scientific community and the many "garage tinkerers" to help separate the false claims from the real ones.

When I read your first statement it sounded like you were stating with certainty that it will run continuously. No offense intended, but hopefully your organization, which sounds really nice, will be very scientific and unbiased. IMHO it really hurts our industry when so many people make claims that have not been verified or even built. I would really like to help educate a lot of these people in what ever manner to help clean up the "free energy" community.


Has anyone heard any news about Steorn? I really wish they would keep us updated more frequently. According to their last update made one month ago, Aug.25, the applications were closed on 16 days ago. I'm wondering when they or if they have already chosen the final 12 scientists.

The bottom line is, the concept of the toy is not mine, it's Steorn's because if Steorn's LEMA patent does what they say it does, and because this toy is so simple, it will work, and it will run continuously.  If the toy doesn't work when it is built, then Steorn's LEMA doesn't work.  This is part of our process in validating claims.

One of the primary objectives of this organization is to bridge the gap between the scientific community and the people who may have breakthrough technology.  This bridge will also separate the frauds that hurt the community from the ones whom claims are real.  The very fact that people turn away from the free energy community is because of the scam artists, would you agree?  Therefore, the scientific community will be forced to deal with any phenomenon validated by this association and may help bring this technology to the public faster than how things are happening at the present time.

Nothing yet, I would expect about 6-12 months before hearing anything from the Jury.  I expect that the public will be informed with this page as to where they are at: http://www.steorn.net/challenge.aspx?p=1

They plan on posting an FAQ, but I guess that they are really busy.
