The nameplate rating on a motor isn't a measure of how much power the motor must draw.  It is a measure of how much power the motor can transfer without overheating.

A motor spinning at a constant speed only has to overcome:  bearing friction, magnetic losses, copper losses, and windage.  With no load and rotating at a low speed, all those losses are very low, and consequently the required input power is very low.  A pair of NiMH cells can reasonably deliver 5W for an hour.  That demonstration could be drawing as little as 1/4W.

I first started "following" the ufopolitics claims nearly two years ago when he started claiming overunity from his kludged-together rewound motors. (I first started rewinding motors myself when I was fifteen years old, racing slotcars at public tracks.)

Note the dates. And that is page 95 already.
And then read forward from there, to see all the blown mosfets (NTE brand parts yet, twice as expensive as the same part with an IRF partnumber), the expensive motor parts bought by people, the arrangements made with motor manufacturers... the whole thing reads like a huge comedy script. I think that has to be one of the longest-running threads ever, as things change and people drop in and out. They are up to page 242 now... and guess where ufopolitics is _still_ getting all his electricity from.

One of the comments on the linked video pointed out that the motor was operated under no load.  So UFOPolitics made another video, but this time he used a much higher power lithium battery to perform his rebuttal demonstration where the gear gnawed at a dowel.  It was pathetic misdirection.

Just read the last two pages of the thread, and pay attention to "DadHav". He has been there all along and has contributed mightily -- and is calling a spade a spade, demonstrating that there has never been any hint of OU performance from ufopolitics himself or any of the other many builders who come, spend lots of money and time building and testing, then fade away.  The entire thing is just a big ego trip for ufopolitics himself. He pretends to "teach"... but he cannot himself come up with a motor/generator arrangement that works better in all-around performance than what anyone can buy, ready-made, from a factory. It is another case of garden-pathing, false claims, improper measurements and great expense, wasted, on the part of the "students". The remarkable thing is that the truth-tellers like DadHav haven't been banned. Of course it's all just entertainment, and the thread does bring traffic to Err-on's site. 242 pages and not a single Joule of OU, not a single "self runner", and of course we know where ufopolitics is getting the electricity for his home.
