I am not the meathead that believes in ridiculous conspiracy theories.  So now you are claiming that Tinman's children or family was threatened?
I believe Tinman posted just the other day that no threats were made.

The insulting inference is that Tinman started crying wolf to cover a hoax up like Mylow tried to. I can assure you, the stronger liklyhood is that what he reported is authentic and very scary! I've been through it. It's up to Tinman to determine who took too sharp a turn on the road and so on. I don't want Tinman insulted by naïve dopes when he strayed into very hot water and needs help.

You have cause and effect backwards.  Voltage is no more energy than height is energy or color or width are energy.  If you apply work by separating charges, the voltage goes up.  The voltage changes as a result of the work performed, not the other way around.  This is analagous to changing the height of a weight.  You apply work to increase the height of the weight.  The increased height is a result of the work that you perform.  It is not the work or the cause of the work.
