Tinman has shown what appears to be a continuous DC offset on the secondary of his transformer.   But in fact we know that that is impossible.  Therefore some good people around here, some of them serious electronics experts, are doing the investigation with Tinman to find the cause of the observation and explain what is going on.  At the same time how a transformer works is being explored with simulations and interested parties can follow along and learn something.  This is one of the rare times when real electronics is being discussed on this forum instead of the fantasy nonsense electronics discussions that you see on most of the other threads.

Help for others:

   1: A Minimum Load is required. I Quote: "The VTA "likes" to always see a minimum load of 25 watts" - I wonder why this would be???
   2: Winding Directions are important! Like I have said. Turns Ratio needs to be 3:1 at least.
   3: Frequency Specific, need to find the optimum Frequency.
   4: Don't over look anything... Input Power especially!!! Look at Phase angles. Like I have already tried to explain.
   5: Wire size is something that needs to be looked at.
   6: Sine wave input is best, but also works with Square in some circumstances.
   7: Resonating the Input is best! This needs to be played around with some, might need a LL LC Resonate Circuit or just a LL Resonance.
