It would be nice to continue on with experimental data insted of continuing insults.

Poynt has managed to show the same kind of effect with his sim as i have with my setup. So we know that the effect can be replicated. Now im just waiting for his power disipation ratio's from L2 during the on and off time of L1,and see if he can get a 1:1 ratio like i have. Then come's the agreement between us all that both my DMM's and scope are reading true value's. After that is done,i will present my P/in and P/out value's-but not before. All test from here on in will be done using a set value resistance as the load,and this value is 33 ohms-3 x 100 ohm resistors in parallel

This is using an unpotted random toroid with 10 turns "primary" and 30 turns "secondary" of insulated hookup wire.

Looks like the off time current flows to about the mid way point between pulses,and then hits that bump at the 0 volt line-is this correct TK,as it is hard to make out the horizontal lines in that pic.

Hi Tinman. What is the coupling like between the two sets of coils that are wound on the inner toroid core. Have you tested the coupling between them by using one as a primary and the other as a secondary?

The coupling between the two inner windings is good-as we would expect. But i cant get the current to flow from one winding for the 95% off time like we see when using the outer winding as L1.
