Hi

Well, i went to order some components to make a drive coil circuit. Then I realised I actually have no idea what size components (in terms of watts) that I should get. So for instance I need a 1kohm potentiometer, but I dont know what watt rating it needs to be. I have spent a few hours trying to work it out, but I could do with someone explaining it to me please. I have attached a pic of the diagram. I am thinking, I need to know what the voltage drop across the drive coil will be before I can work out the rest?

thanks

Nathan
