There has never been an easier path towards experiment.
I can hardly imagine a simpler and cheaper entry level protocol than

Perhaps, but anything interesting scientfically that might come out won't be coming from the likes of Rossi.

If you are referring to Greg Potter:  No he doesn't now, and he won't ever have anything interesting to show.  He has a gutted gasoline generator box that he has refit with a couple of lead acid batteries and DC-AC inverters.  He has already shown as much.
