Has anyone done that or is this some sort of another rip off ?

You probably did not notice how sleazy one of those web pages is because you run a script blocker.  You know when you try to close a browser tab and you get a pop-up window begging you to stay?  Well, I clicked (with apprehension) "Leave this Page" and I got _another_ pop-up window begging me to stay.

I had to do a ctrl-alt-delete and kill the entire browser with Task Manager.
