I just want to wish all forum members a Happy New Year.  I also want to thank Stefan, our gracious host, for all that he has done for us by providing this website.

Let us all hope that 2016 is a year of peace, prosperity and an opportunity to show what mankind can do to advance our understanding of electronics and energy generation.

Also, let us not forget those of us that did not make it to 2016, like MarkE and many others.  May peace be with them.

Thank you Stefan as this was my first year on board this ship. I have learned a lot from when I first joined up thanks to you and the contributors here. Hope to repay that back by sharing more in the new year. While I do believe to a certain extent in government intervention and other large entities in stopping or slowing down progress of new technologies and ideas, I have also seen that we can often be our own worst enemies due to infighting for one reason or another. I am not immune to this myself but I do plan to try much harder in the new year as this planet has provided us with so much for so long, and now needs our help as well more than ever.
