**Help Wanted** Bedini/Watson Machine concept- how to extract power

Hello there,


First of all, I'm new to electronics and generators so please bear with me.  I seek the help of more experienced people to help me with my problem and I think I am in the right place.  :)

I'm attempting to build a small scale "Bedini Energizer/Watson machine" and find myself somewhat stuck...

I have a dc motor spinning a high mass flywheel (12cm diameter) with 8 Neo magnets (1cmX0.5cm)
I have 12 coils salvaged from worn out hair clippers.  These coils are wound with extremely thin wire (gauge unknown) making up thousands of turns I presume.  So this will mean I will generate high voltage with low current.  I know the whole setup can be constructed much more efficient and better but, let's for argument sake try and find a way to use what the current setup is, as efficient as possible before I re-build the machine to higher standards and efficiency with better (and calculated) components. 

Please note:  The aim at the moment is not to make it self-run or achieve over-unity, it is to extract and utilize the energy generated as best as possible.

As it stands, each coil when I bring it close to the magnets while spinning, generates roughly 50v AC, 0.04 A.  The coils are about 1cm from the magnets and so far do not slow the rotor down when shorted/loaded. 

My questions:
•   Should I connect coils in series?  Roughly 50VAC @0.04A *12 = +-  600VAC @0.48A
The frequency will be very high so what can I do from there?  High frequency step down transformer to 220-240V (South-African).  How do I accomplish this?

•   Rectify the 600VAC, then buck convert from 600VDC down to 12VDC and attach an Inverter?

•   Rectify each coil from 50VAC – 50VDC (no I didn't forget the slight loss  ;) , just theoretical) then connect all coils in parallel in order to up the current, then buck convert down to 12VDC, then inverter?  (+- 50VDC@ 0.48A)

----------------------------OR------------------------

•   Wind coils with thick gauge wire in order to generate more current, but still, how should I connect them and extract the energy etc?



As I said, I am new to this so please correct me where I am wrong, after all I am here to learn.
If you guys have any other ideas or suggestions not listed above, please advise me.   :D

Let's try and use the energy that is generated, as efficiently as possible.

A household utility generator has only one or two magnetic poles rotating passed one coil at 50 or 60 times each second. This multiple magnets passed multiple coil construction is what is used
in a multi-phase AC alternator. You can picture what is happening by drawing a sign wave one for each magnet past each coil.  Unfortunately the only way to use such a set up for AC is have
an eight wire circuit. So you should look at converting each coil immediately to dc with a diode or bridge diode and adding them together. They can be stacked in series or parallel and give more
current. Don't forget the voltage smoothing capacitor of correct working voltage for dc. There are 48Vdc inverters to utility voltage, which is a standard but you are going to be making so little energy
that it might not start a commercial inverter. What you can do is use an NE555 oscillator to drive FET power transistors at 50 Hz. producing a 50 Hz. Square wave out of the power produced and run
that to a standard transformer used in reverse. A better way to utilize the power might be to use the oscillator set up above and build a toroidal transformer with a heavier secondary winding and use
it to charge an acid lead battery. A good rule of thumb is that each coil will only produce as much power as it consumed when in the appliance. So I would expect only about 8watts net output from
all these coils. Don't forget that you can borrow liberally from the schematics of various circuits available on this web site. Once you see how these components work together then you can increase the
wire gauge (#numbers decrease) to generate more power.

That statement is not correct.  If you put the coils in series the voltage will add as you show but the current will not.  You will have 600VAC but only .04A.

Or if you put them all in parallel you will have 50VAC at .48A.

I thought you should know you don't have as much power available as you thought you did.
