Recently the pope declared that everyone should be concerned with climate change and pollution.

The problem is urgent. "Never have we so hurt and mistreated our common home as we have in the last two hundred years."  We must all change our day-to-day actions to live more sustainably.  "Reducing greenhouse gases requires honesty, courage and responsibility."  On a larger scale, our leaders must be held to account. "Those who will have to suffer the consequences . . . will not forget this failure of conscience and responsibility."

Solving climate change means protecting the planet and vulnerable people, and we must hear "both the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor."  Faith can guide us. "The entire material universe speaks of God's love, his boundless affection for us. Soil, water, mountains – everything is, as it were, a caress of God." 

I believe him because if people deny climate change for personal gain or profit and it does inflict untold pain and suffering on future generations then those people responsible will burn in hell. They will burn in hell because they inflicted untold pain and suffering on not only those they do not know but everything and everyone they claim to love. Personally I feel sorry for them because anyone with that much hate and that much resentment for others will never be content or happy. There is no amount of material possessions, or power or wealth which could possibly fill that gaping void of emptiness they call their soul, those poor bastards.

Depends on what you mean by climate change. We are currently entering a  grand solar minimum. After a couple of more years of record cold, as we've been seeing for the last 3 years around the globe, you'll be wishing you had some coal or oil to keep yourself warm.

You'll also be wondering why you can afford neither, as food prices will be going through the roof due to inclement cold weather reducing the crop growing windows world wide.
