Following Nature's Documents Stan Szpak and LENR Co-deposition HD is taken from interviews conducted January, 2015 with former Navy scientists and engineers Dr. Stanislaw Szpak, Dr. Frank Gordon, and Dr. Melvin Miles, who each researched the anomalous effects in deuterated systems. They collaborated on co-deposition experiments, among other things. Co-deposition was a reproducible method of initiating excess heat, tritium production, low intensity radiation, morphology changes on the surface from electric and magnetic fields, hot spots and mini-volcanoes, as well as transmutations, in a cold fusion environment.
