I stumbled on this short vid years ago and then couldn't find it anymore, recently i found it again and reuploaded it, it's russian i think.

You will notice at any given time 5, 6 or 7 magnets want to climb to the top of the slope and only 0, 1 or maybe 2 want to stick there making it run continuously.

This is also not meant to be used for power generation but is a fascinating simple principle.
