Is VPN safe?

VPN will hide your IP,

but,

even through VPN your PC will gladly answer what CPU you use,
which graphics card you have,
hard drive,
which memory type you use.

And on, and on.

All those data makes the fingerprint of your PC,
and IP is not needed to find you on network.

Once PC is located by the fingerprint, IP is easily obtained.

In time of my service in military, we used simple software,
which gives false data to network about components on your PC,always changing,
so the PC on network can not be identified easily.

Yes,  I know about that issue.   So what do you use to alter or hide your PC's info?   TOR?

I use software I should not have. A gift for my service.

Even that is partial solution.

Dark web isn't solution either, many thought they are safe on dark web,
but been caught eventually.

The main advantage for us is that they need lots of computational power and time

to enumerate and check all users on network.

So, they use it for wanted people, criminals, FE successful researcher (maybe) and similar,
for people they badly need.



As far as I know, there are no 100% solution to this.



One example of usage of VPN.
From your home to VPN point your response time is 100ns.
From VPN to this forum another 200ms, which is 300ns in total.
Simple measuring of response time from forum to VPN point is telling that you are in 100ns radius from your VPN.
IF you are close to your VPN point, radius is small,
if you are far away from your VPN point, radius becomes big, and harder to pinpoint.
And if you have software which manipulates with response time, you can be on the moon.




I don't know for real solution.
Sometimes it seems to me that the whole thing is intentionally made this way.

partial solution to it is to have two:
The VPN and  Fingerprint change service or software.
the fingerprint can change  every 30 seconds ( the best) or every 10 minutes..


Who you should be  aware of:
1. Russian trolls  are really nasty as they are paid by their government.
2. Announcing, making statements, that are  absolutely convincing in the manner that personally involves you as  key element. 
- in areas where  other people wants  to be at your shoes (despite their relation to you) 
- when people wants to  eliminate you as not needed and  disturbing  their own  lift up based on that what you told them. 
- when people see you as dangerous to their own existing and established  business, trade, life style or activity.
- never tell what is your next  move and when is going to happen.

3. there is never enough  of protection on the web and in personal life.
the good thing for us Americans is that we are allowed to  have  guns legally and  in our constitution.
 
Example:
I made video  few years ago  that was  so convincing that  "Russians" decided to  attract Venezuelans to  get me.
and they did..
but I'm still alive.

4. If you  in trouble  you have only few choices:
a. move all away  into any media, or social  platform in action, with everything you have  if it is worth to do it or if you going to lose  big time.
b.  try to  show to outside  world , that terminating you will make things worse, (but for that you need reputation  or network ready to  spread
     information  all over the world after you are gone.)
c. do nothing ... as you are loser anyhow , so now  make yourself   even bigger loser ,and story maker so everyone  interested know that you are not worth their time.
    but that  allows to make  move , as  you are loser anyhow so no worry ..
    and only after that -get them   by the balls big time as now you have all time and all comfort to do it.
    Don't  think about   patents , money , pride, alienation  or how big is  the shit you are  now at, or how bad you look in eyes of  your audience.
    Prepare everything  on the net  and make strike  in all possible places using all possible people who wants to have  that what you have in your hands.
    they will be competing  between themselves,

d. don't be such a fool as I'm  .
don't respect friendship or your worry about  future of humanity and collapsing world due to FE . 
It is your invention,
You gonna be gone any how so why do you care.?
Make them  happy for the next ~18 years before world starts  to overpopulate. 
Isn't that what they want?
Luxury of life, comfort,  happiness  because of FE?

You are very right.

My software don't change whole fingerprint that often,
but when it detects too many requests of sensitive nature.
It automatically ping others on network and copy their configurations,
so database is always fresh.

It also alerts me if there is too many requests for components info.
Then I just terminate connection for a while.

It can do it automatically, but I set that option off, like to do it when I decide.

It is rare, for now.
