Electric Rail Cars and mass transit vehicles

Rail cars or trains carry a lot of merchandise to the consumer.
There are many mass transit vehicles that could benefit from highly efficient propulsion.
By incorporating the linear 5:1 permanent magnet to electromagnet magnet ratio
in these systems would safe mass transit companies a lot of money.
The displayed drawing shows limited information of this technology
I have included additional files that describe how this technology works.
As with other motors that use this new technology, a modified tank circuit
with steering diodes would increase the efficiencies even more.

There can be several different optional designs on how the vehicle interacts with the road,
train track or other method mechanism to do this.

In broad principle, isn't this how the Japanese maglevs work?

Great Question!

The Maglev trains have superconducting electromagnets.  It is true that the extreme cold temperatures the electromagnets are very efficient.  The problem is that it takes energy to keep these magnets that cold.

The Maglev levitates a little ways above the ground due to repulsion of the magnets allowing it to travel at the high speeds.
My motor does not levitate by the usage of my motor.  So I would have to have other means to create the levitation.
My transportation would be at the same speeds as the other mass transit systems.
Now using my system, the rotor magnets are every fourth segment of travel so that the system would not need any electricity in the tracks.
To my knowledge the magnetic motors in the mass transit system use magnetic motors that have a PM to EM ratio of 1 to 1 where my motor design has a ratio of 5 to 1.  You only have to pay for the power of an electromagnet not the power from the permanent magnet. 
If you only had to pay one person pushing your car instead of six people pushing your car, what way would you want to get your car moved. 
It is the lower cost to operate the motors built with the new technology that is impressive. 
So this concept will not replace Maglev, but the cost to run the Maglev is so much more expensive.  That is why Maglev is not everywhere today.  But if my 5:1 torque Linear motor operating with the modified tank circuit meets overunity status then adding the levitation design into my mass transit system may make sense.
