Oops. I apologize.

4 1/4 inch diam sched 27-29 thin wall,
1 inch high but the coil space in middle is 3/4 in for coil loop height.

30 feet of 4" is about 25 turns, isnt it?  wavelenght is 8.73hz?

To understand the action of the local condenser E in fig.2 let a single discharge be first considered. the discharge has 2 paths offered~~ one to the condenser E the other through the part L of the working circuit C.
