There is no evidence of an alien civilization.

onepower only talks about  invention of "God" by  Sumerians,  who for whatever reason  mentioned Aliens.
So Aliens didn't or don't have to exist.
By that evidence  or, no evidence of an alien civilization is not important.
and exactly the same is with concept of God: there is no evidence that God exists
apart from pure past and present speculation,fluctuating due to clergy convenience and money flow.
(e.g acceptance of LGBT and killings in wars by religious soldiers)
10 commandments ( "don't kill"  ) but clergy (  Patriarch, Kirill head of Church in Russia )     
says ~ "kill them good and we will bless it."

We should be clear the known universe is theorized to be 13.5 billion years old. We don't know how big the actual universe is or how old it is.

What's ironic is that the Sumerians, which was the first known civilization, invented the concept of god(s) to describe beings from the stars ie. Aliens. This was over 4000 years before Christianity or Islam were even invented. So in fact all religions are really based on ancient civilizations who worshiped aliens. However most believers don't believe in alien beings from other worlds, the very thing there actually worshiping...*facepalm*.

Genesis 10 mentions this birth of sumeria, genesis 11 mentions briefly its growth, oneness and fall. They were the first that worshiped the heavens and heavenlies, anunaki.

There is no evidence of an alien civilization. Man has long been asking the question of where he came from.
If the aliens land in front of your house tomorrow, it still does not explain that God does not exist. The same question also applies to aliens where they came from.

I think the comedian Ricky Gervais said it best...

There have been nearly 3000 Gods so far but only yours actually exists.The others are silly made up nonsense. But not yours. Yours is real.

It's the best because he explains the nature of the problem. Many people judge others with one set of rules but themselves with a different set of rules. They believe all kinds of nonsense with no proof but demand irrefutable proof from everyone else. They break the rules every chance they get then condemn anyone else who does the same. The word hypocrite comes to mind...
