Science has become like a religion: just trust it and don't question the dogma's. ahaha 
Vatican was called to reform for a reason, they didn't because they liked their power over the ignorant. The reformed Christians found freedom from the theological suppression and founded the ivy league. 

Science is rediscovering the ether step by step by proof instead of by claim, but they give it different names.

If you believed so much in God you wouldn't need a hospital. However, God cannot work miracles all the time, and that is why he told us to build hospitals.

Where did physics come from? If the universe is 13.5 billion years old, why not 1000 billion? because it is still some number, that is, it was the beginning. Start out of nothing? come on.

If you are a Christian or a Jew, Museuman, your faith is God. There are some who don't believe but that's what they owe to God. How ironic that is.

Christianity teaches from the bible that we are a unity of body, soul and spirit. Body is the machine, soul is your personal being (comprises of  thinking, emotions, feelings, personality), spirit is the invisible wind from God that  makes the body a living soul.

Incredible claims need incredible proof, until then it's based on believe.

Good points.
To keep it short:
I see science as proving yourself (or your hypotheses being) wrong.
If you cant prove it wrong, it is correct, at least for the time being.
This demands discipline.
