It is not scientists who reject God, they are opponents such as LGBT who are interrupted by God. Why are these people devastating the churches? because not out of boredom and not out of stupidity.

However, if he is a scientist, he probably says it on his own behalf, although it has already happened in history that people denied many things and then withdrew. A true scientist should not be limited to what he knows now.

As for the soul, science has long established by simply measuring body weight that it is 20 grams lighter at death. which suggests it is nothing physical.

Jeśli jednak jest to naukowiec to mówi to w swoim imieniu zapewne choć bywało już w historii, że ludzie negowali wiele spraw, a potem się wycofywali. Prawdziwy naukowiec nie powinien być ograniczony do tego co teraz wie.

Co do duszy to już dawno nauka stwierdziła przez prosty pomiar wagi ciała, że w momencie śmierci jest lżejsze o 20gr. co sugeruje, że nie jest to nic fizycznego.

Christianity teaches from the bible that we are a unity of body, soul and spirit. Body is the machine, soul is your personal being (comprises of  thinking, emotions, feelings, personality), spirit is the invisible wind from God that  makes the body a living soul.

All of it doesn't change a fact that :

1. PHYSICS IS DOING VERY WELL WITHOUT GOD  (all the time)
2. RELIGION was always  interfering with progress of physics' e.g Copernicus

3. nothing you are using today to communicate with me  came from God/Gods.
    - but we may believe to  be the opposite.
4.  Physical world exists around us without us.
     God/Gods for us, can only exist in the inside of our minds as nonphysical  value believed to be affecting physical world.
     -and without believers becomes lost, unknown,
     -and without written books  become unrecoverable never existing value.
     
5.  Rediscovering physics is  normal, common, and natural without any external influence.
     Rediscovering God  and its historical facts can't be done,and is a value permanently lost forever  if we
     wake up tomorrow knowing nothing about it. - without an external influence.
   
Summary:
World without believers  in God/gods can exist pretty well but
God without believers can't.

So despite /regardless of  our approach to our spiritual values, and our comfort of  being uniquely independent
in  our emotional  approach to God/Gods - it is Physics that makes you  and your life  verifiably  more advanced.
You have your, toilet, birth control pills, cellphone, computer, Mars  rovers and coronavirus vaccine
due to physical action  of scientists and when you sick you go to hospital not to Church.
