I am here with you and have been for quite some time.  It has taken time to get the "stuff" I need.  But I am coming up to speed now.  The plates and cell are conditioned and are responding normally.  I am hampered by a 28k dial-up so I am selective when viewing video.  I am now off work for the summer and plan on spending most of my time down in the shop. 

I want to thank you IH, for taking your time to help all of us in this learning process.

Looks top notch Yikes and thank you.

One thing I should add is. Cut some strips of Acrylic  to put under the cell to lift it up off the bottom so it can circulate.


Anyone else have some pics or just a good explanation of the progress?

Dudes! Check out that jar of instant coffee!  Yeah baby!, we're wired for sound now! can't evn keep my hands straight.  My coffee don't need no cup - freakin' radioactive - yeah!

Re-Sealing went well - had already added about 1/2 inch to side plates to raise it up - ends only - side are off bottom.

Dabbled with A-feid coil - will take some sweeping and tuning to find the sweet spot - if their is one.

Need to know current and frequency requirements for variac - ASAP - got an angle on one.

Good job !   current at least 10 amps and  220 volts , no freq  just your standard 60hz

10 amps - 220v - that's dual (must be 35 lbs - yikes)

Have to squeeze this into the budget and the door - unnoticed - he he he...

Might have to caveman at first - i.e. transformer - won't be that adjustable - but it's free.
