the slotted fit should be tight  if you can rattle the plate by hand its to lose if you can not pull it out it is to tight . Hows that for scientific 

You sound like a guy that can really do a good replication here , because you asked the number one question that no one else has ever asked.

Good luck  ask any and all questions  as every detail matters. Its the little stuff that adds up to make a Cell work properly.

The resign I have not scripted out ever detail is because it is impossible to do .

That's almost exactly the same way Jesse James, (west coast choppers) described how he goes about fabricating a bike from scratch... I find the same, if I run with an idea and don't let my brain get in the way... the outcome usually surpasses what my original goal was. Along the lines of the other saying " Don't think... Just do... "

Oh how i love it when you guys talk this way.. Go get em boys. this is the OnlY way for true builders to think!!  not so sure about Jesse James tho thats a different kind of building. For the most part he is building from a known templet.(It has a motor and 2 wheels , a gastank,, ect,ect) we are not. we go in to the relm of the new and totally different. Moab.  Just do it. you can study it later.

Just want to make sure I'm doing this right so that when I report a measurement, it will be able to stand scrutiny.
Gallon jug with 1 liter air space, let engine run to force out 1 liter water, then time the next liter that is forced out.  So that three liters H produced, and I can time the third liter.  Does that make sense?
Do you know a way to apply a vacuum while taking a test?  I have to take off the connection to the throttle body.

Well what I do is go down and find a 1L bottle of pop. Fill that bottle with 1L of water and turn upside down in a bigger pail of water. Put the HHO output hose into the neck of the bottle while the electrolyzer is turned on and warmed up. Time how long it takes to push out that 1L of water. That is a rough guess on the Liters / Min your cell puts out. Not exact but will do. unless you have a flow meter
