If you want to patent it, patent only one portion which is the key area. Attach to it superfluous extensions. Once patent pending, then you can use it any way you want. If you plan to make multiples and sell them, start by selling them one by one, two by two, three by three. When you get up to 200 clients, then do a small blitz, stop, disappear if you feel some heat, then come back again when the heat settles. By then you will be on Oprah, and your cloak will be assured.

If you make a boat that will never sink, some people will not like that, so you say it will sink if hit by a tanker or by a comet. It is not an unsinkable boat.

Another one "Our generators consume replacement parts". Show the yearly parts cost even if you have to make them  up and work out the kW/h cost thereafter. It's not free energy.

Instead use highly efficient. Don't make big waves. Start small, make yourself a base, then, if you see that you can increase your base, go for it, but don't make waves.

For anyone to succeed in the OU businesses of the future, they must keep a focused mind set. Don't crave attention, don't try to be a hero. You have a good product, You can make and sell it. It's a business. Don't knock anyone down, regardless of your personal beliefs. Publicly, always speak about the positive, never the negative. The least amount of enemies you make, the better you will succeed.

Your mind set is the key since your most powerful powerhouse of what happens to you in your life is your mind set. If you are always panicking about the MIB, you will attract the MIB since you will subconsciously do things that will attract them. If your mind set is funneled towards the business end of this venture, since that's exactly what it is, a venture, then you will subconsciously do things that enable that realization. Your mind set is the master plan that your subconscious then puts into motion, on a one, two, three and four dimensional basis. This happens to you everyday whether you know it or not.

A commercial entity has more of a chance than one inventor since an entity can be administered by more than one person. You have to find the business partners to cover your ass. Sell $1000 certificates. The more people that buy a certificate, the more covered you will be against any potential attempt to stifle your efforts. The more people have your system in hand, the stronger it is to give out more certificates and sell more systems. But keep it low key.

Finance your start-up by selling $1000 certificates that will share in let's say 10% of Class A shares. Put a cap on it of 5000 certificates. The first one sold will be worth all the 5%, the second will make 2.5% each, the third will be 1.66% each, etc, until 1/5000% each on the 10%.

Make sure you have an accountant to do your books, as you may be attacked by the fiscal people as a favor to someone. Put some money aside for such hassles. Or do the books yourself but be diligent and still put some money aside.

If your system can easily be replicated, and if you do not want to bother with everything that your invention will create, prepare a good internet disclosure and go open source.

If your system cannot easily be replicated, since it may entail very complicated components that only you can create and if you do not want to bother with everything that your invention will create, then find someone who can and put it in his or her name or go open source anyways and hope that someone will pick it up.

If your system, regardless if it can or cannot easily be replicated, even if it may entail very complicated components that only you can create and if you DO want to manage and grow with everything that your invention will create, then be very careful, dumb-like, open your business, find some partners that have varied technical skills and do it. But keep it low key to start.

If you try to sell it to a multi-national for a billion dollars, it will rarely ever happen and you run the risk of getting physically crushed.

Lastly, if you still want to try to sell it to a multi-national for a billion dollars, you will command a better price and have more security if you have a company that actually makes and sells the device with at least 1000 clients. Or by then it's time to either sell or attract a very big partner for another 20% or 30%.
