@ those interested in direct electrolysis without a metal catalyst I have this for you:

"The unit does not use "normal brute force" electrolysis when operating in high efficiency mode. It relies mainly on a chemical reaction that takes place between the electrolyte used and the metal plates, which is maintained by electrical energy applied and stimulated into higher efficiency by the application of multiple harmonic resonances which help to "tickle" the molecules apart. I used multiple cells in series to lower the voltage per cell and limit the current flow in order to reduce water vapor production. Let me guess...hmm..Resonant frequency of the plates, Harmonic and intermodulation.  He does not say, but that would be my first try!! LOL  RF signal!!  Let me reword something...I  KNOW FOR SURE that this person did this.  I can't tell you how I know at this time, I might later.  But this is TPU tech applied to water.  Trust me when I say that.  You need RF signal generator, small amount of electricity, amplifier of RF signal.  Measure the Resonant Frequency of your plates (like a speaker!) Double that for the second frequency, this is the harmonic.  COMBINE the two for the third.  input to your plates and ....

Hello,

Just like to react to some things said here earlier. Off course you can't replace aluminium or other materials that are being used up in a chemical reaction! They are crucial to the reaction.

The patent is about mimcing the catalyst (a catalyst that isn't being used up to be more specific).

This being said it might be possible the replace the NaOH as it is not being used up when producing Hydrogen from aluminium. As NaOH is composed of different components itself you probablt need differnt frequencies te simulate the different components?
