The movie is showing nothing more than a rare piece of marvelous completely useless machine.

Now I can understand better some of his hidden reasons and agenda: if spending several good thousands dollars on machines like this (and on various auxiliary equipments as well as on rent, energy, wages etc) then it is not surprisingly your financiers will not be happy at all. In extremis, promoting to the absurd may offer a little bit of excuse and may buy some time before the final judgment?

About the machine itself: one phase of its cycle was carefully removed by editing the video. The phase in which the orange weight is removed from the tube at the upper part. Why? Because when removing the said weight, one can clearly see that the water level in the tube dropped. What would be the energy to raise the water level in the tube after removing the weight? More than that extracted!

You ask why is the orange weight going up to the tube? That?s a simple question: because its density is slightly lower than that of water. In other words, the weight is floating, nothing more than that.

It is too bad that some funds (and quite important for small labs) go into holes like this.
Funds that otherwise could be used for real OU research and experiments!
Or maybe for other important areas like health and medication, right Mr. Tseung?
(I can?t help but noticing the great resemblance of that orange weight and a pill. A huge pill!  )

Added: actually the water level is already lowered when the ?pill?
reaches the top.
Energy is needed to replace the water to the top.
