And with the UK patent now confirmed, Willie has been in touch with engineers and car companies across the globe in the hope one will be able to help finance the creation of a full working model.

This is quoted from the article.  so, he has received a patent and yet has not built a full working model or example?  How is this possible? Why would the newspaper or Patent Office believe this is going to work when, apparently, it has not as of yet?  Am I missing something here?

Many patent applications have never been built or tested or will ever become realised in real life.
Myself I don't get the idea of spending money and time on patenting something that clearly wont work any good.
Why not build a smaller working model at first that can prove the concept. If sucessful then go patent it....

His claims in this patent of a motor being capable of doing heavy work like propelling a car does not sound right.
An ordinary rotary electric motor would do this jobb 10 times better and being less complicated.
